Objectives of the Workshop:
- To empower our teacher trainees to draw out their creativity in the form of various artistic items.
- To prepare teacher trainees to use their artistic and aesthetic sense in day to day life situation
- Enable teacher trainees to achieve a balanced growth as a social being in tune with our culture.
Content and Schedule:
Art and craft is a presentation and expressions of ideas and feelings in images, gestures and in movement. The teaching of art and craft enriches sensory, emotional, intellectual and creative aspects by providing enjoyable and aesthetic experiences. To enhance holistic development of teacher trainees, art and craft workshop was organized by the department of Education. The Resource person of the workshop was Dr.Neena Rathi, Guest faculty, a renowned art and craft artist of chhattisgarh region . Trainees learned various forms of art and craft like warli art, Clay art, Glass painting, Quilling paper art and many more. The workshop was filled with energy and passion as the trainees were motivated to learn, explore and grow.

Program outcomes achieved:
- The workshop helped to create interest in teacher trainees to learn new techniques in art and craft.
- Provided limitless opportunity to display their creativity.
- Helped to create cultural awareness and empathy.
Conclusion:
The teachers as well as the teacher trainees took an active part in the workshop. They were filled with curiosity and enthusiasm. It was a successful workshop as it nurtured the creativity of the participants providing them with high-quality; thoughtful experiences and resources that genuinely and creatively supported their learning.
